The traditional Truffle and Undergrowth Products Festival is organizedin Pecorara, in collaboration with the Provincial Truffle Association, and is now in its 32nd official edition. The festival again this year, is part of the events promoted by the new Municipality of Alta Val Tidone, born from the merger of Caminata, Nibbiano and Pecorara. This has always been a land of borders and food and wine excellence, where the aim is to increase the capacity for territorial enhancement also through typical products, such as, precisely, the truffle, which boasts the DE.CO. qualification. (Communal Denomination).

The festival, which has the patronage of the Emilia-Romagna Region, is set up along the main street of the charming high hill town, where there are stalls of truffle hunters, mushroom hunters and other producers, with honey, organic flours and fruit jams, along with the Pro loco's food stall.

Over the years, the festival has been enriched with initiatives that complement the commercial offerings and broaden interest in the same,with side offerings such as truffle dog competitions and exhibitions, photo exhibitions, video screenings on the history of the village, outdoor educational activities such as a live demonstration of grain milling with a small artisanal mill, popular music and songs, and fixed-price menus offered by the village restaurants.
